Toddler on my back.

I was so busy cleaning up the kitchen, thinking I was finishing but really starting again the laundry, that I couldn't see the picture of Audrey and I at that moment.  She was chasing me around the house, while I too busy to ask her what she needed kept about my afternoon.

We were in the laundry room, and she kept saying mama, mama.  She pointed up to our coat rack.

Where the carriers hang.

I quickly stopped, held her close, and apologized.

I sat her on the washer as we got her comfy on my back.

Not the best picture, but definitely an everyday one.

She still loves to be carried.

So cute! I have a 19, 17 and 6 year old - even when they get older they still want to be held. It's a great feeling to be a mom. I often wonder what the world would be like if we all took more time to hug our children. You are a great mommy.

How beautiful! I hope my Audrey will still want to be carried at that age. My mom keeps telling me to put her down otherwise she'll want to carried all the time. I wear her anyways. Who wants to be far away from their baby!

Oh, I'm so jealous!! I wish Clemmie would still let me carry her! She stopped "allowing" it around 18 months! :(

Maybe I'll try today to see what happens....Maybe now she'll love it! lol.

PS - you are so beautiful! No wonder she's such a preciosa!

Thanks for are the compliments! You guys know how to make my day!!!

Martha, carry your baby. You will regret not carrying your Audrey when she grows. There is no going back, she will only be this little once.

If you have any questions on babywearing, I am happy to answer with the little bit I know.

I can also refer you to a couple really good sites.

Krista, let me know how the toddler wearing goes. I actually don't wear Audrey that often anymore. She loves to play and run, and do everything toddlers do. It was really sweet how she wanted to be worn. I think I need to wear her more often.

I carried Maria until she was about 3. Would have done it much longer. Miss my wrap.

Guapísimas las dos! Qué lindo momento!
Yo dejé de llevar a Lola hace ya muchos meses, ella se quería mover y mi espalda no podía más, y sí que lo hecho de menos a veces. ¡Disfrútalo!

Oh, sweetness!

Carrying a toddler is wonderful in its own way, don't you think?
